HOW TO TELL IF YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS THE MISTRESS OF DEATH:
- She has cerulean hair.
- You have red hair.
- She has unusually strong magical abilities.
- She claims to be able to see the future.
- She tells you to go on a quest to save the world.
- You have never met nor heard anything about her parents.
- You do not know where she is from (barring vague responses like "Northland")
- She has a theme song.
- The Sinistrals show an unusual interest in her.
- The Sinistrals try to kidnap her.
- Things that have nothing to do with her are named for her, eg., the Iris treasures, Lufia 2, 3, and Ruins of Lore...
- She is not Rubius. (Who totally SHOULD have been Erim. OMG.)
Seriously, what's with that chick? She gets killed and reborn almost as many times as... as... Sailor Moon.

Lufia TLR is not Lufia 3. Lufia RC is Lufia 3 but that one is cancelled.
Iris from TLR is NOT the same Iris from Lufia II. Their names are spelled different in the Jap versions. [link]

I consider TLR to be 3 because it's another sequel, it's the third game, and Ruins Chaser got cancelled.

I didn't say they were from, I said they shared a name. You see, I'm making a joke. It looks like they're named for her to someone playing the American version of L2 and not looking up explanations on the internet, and it's a point of confusion for many people. Thus I joke about it.
