Well, there's nothing wrong with having a signature, but it's always important to try and make it combine with the image, so it doesn't take away from it or competes with it. Color, size, location, it's part of the artistic creation, not something you just past over it. That's the way I think about signatures... unless you're looking for a watermark to protect your work, something else entirely
