Also, the story of Deucalion (Prometheus' son) is similar to the flood myth in Gilgamesh. The Pelasgians sacrifice a boy to Zeus, which disgusts him, so he floods the world, which ends the bronze age. Only Deucalion and his wife survive by escaping in a wooden chest.
