At the end of the movie, when the last two outfits are portrayed, Rapunzel's hair had been cut and apparently lost it's magical properties thus losing it's golden color.

Why thank joo XD I think I might be the only one, but I kind of actually prefer Rapunzel's short brown hair. I love how she has brown hair (the only other princess who does is Belle), and how short it is. Besides Snow White, every other princess has long hair.
