Description

Red is a big, strong lass—and also very good at all sorts of mayhem. To make things worse, she’s quite fast for her size. One afternoon, we’d had enough of light sparring; we both wanted to test each other, find out what we had. A private match, speed vs power, with the results only between us—this isn’t for bragging rights or money, it’s just clean fun. It does looks like getting in the ring with her wasn’t the smartest thing in the world, though. Between her reach, power, and skill, she’s pretty much wrecked me—but that won’t stop me from getting up—if I can. (I want to at least leave a mark or two on her!) She’s expecting me to get back up, also—anyone that gets that banged up and won’t give up, won’t stay down if she has any choice. Foolish, but some people are stubborn.

(And the fight’s not quite as private as we realized…or we just chose to “not notice” the unofficial spectator…)
