I loooooove this! It's so fluid, and the anatomy is gorgeous! I see your dilemma with the color scheme. One second it looks very earthy and the next more airy!

Thank you! I'm really glad you like it. I hope my friend whose Christmas present it is likes it, too!
She tends to like happy fiery colors - oranges, yellows, reds. But I was thinking something like a deep midnight blue with royal blues and royal purples. Or there's that whole earthy browns and greens thing! All I know is that the dancer's going to have warm black hair and a swarthy complexion, so I'll have to plan around that...

Hmm! Maybe you could do a rich, blue/purple background, then the foreground in the fiery colors? They compliment each other well and would make the dancer really pop. But I don't know, I'm so bad with colors, rofl

Oooh, dancing by firelight, perhaps? I might do a CG color test of that and see how it comes together. It definitely sounds like a good idea to me! Thank you for the suggestion.

Oh, I like the composition of this one. I like the balance of the positive/negative space, as well as the lack of perfectly horizontal or vertical lines.

Thank you. I'm going to try coloring it soon and I'm SO intimidated, but hopefully I'll have that to post up in the next week or so!
... yay, positive and negative space. I really have been trying.
