So I wrote a short-short story that was a sequel of sorts to Rumpelstiltskin. It was for a magazine contest! I didn't win, but I liked my entry anyway.

Here is Prince Johannes, the son of the king and the miller's daughter. He just wants his dad to love him. It's not worth it, Johannes! Your dad is a jerk. You should just hang out with Rumpelstiltskin and bake bread and take care of chickens and stuff instead.
