I need to ask.. why the name Rune? I mean, it could mean like the word for ancient letters used by vikings... Or.. well Rune is a male name in Sweden (where I come from) Or you just happen to have named a female Rune. I'm sorry if I come out as an idiot, but please, can you explain it to me? Otherwhise I really like this picture! It's great!

Oh, wow, I love this! She looks so casually strong, and I really like how the bird has its wings open for balance, for some reason that makes it seem more realistic than if he was standing there perfectly steady.

Shes beautiful. she looks competent, like she could take on anything thrown at her, and at the same time, she looks provocative, with just a hint of what there is to offer under those clothes. i love the fact that she IS fully clothed, and i love the clothing design. Great great great work on the elf lady, she looks very real and believeable, but the bird dosen't look fully natural... its the pose the bird has I suppose... the forshortening on the wing makes the wing look fake and detached... And the tailfeathers are in a very unnatural position.
But I love the elf lady's character design, and the background goes well with this.

I'd have to disagree - the bird looks like it's balancing on the staff - as it might be if the staff moved about, as it most likely would if she were holding it like that and there was a big bird of prey perched on the end. IOf you think the bird looks unnatural, go to a falconry center or display - you'll see them splaying tails & wings like this to keep their balance all the time.
