ahhh well a bit of embarrassment here
(for numerous reasons-most of which ill touch on 
). first off topic of outcast dsc was rachel summers not jean grey phoenix(realized this after hair was drawn). so we have rachel summers long hair version 
, tried to catch it up a bit with profile shot. now onto other issues-odd face(damn you upnoses 
). this angle proved mind bending 
. onward...the struggle continues

Yeah. I think all artists have issues with those two things at one time or another. I actually just take a picture of my hand (or whoever is available) in odd positions and use it as a reference. If I don't have a photo reference, I end up drawing sausage fingers of doom.
About her costume? Oh, completely agreed.

love her old excalibur custom and look ^-^ and i think the arist have forgotten about those tattos are can't be bothered drawing them, they just say she can hide them

yeah it is a bit confusing...im with you completely on this with the tattoos. i would want to draw them if i was the artist...not trying to hide them. that look with the all red spiky costume and spiky hair with tattoos-definitely is wheelhouse for me

yeah it like she had them then they where gone, and i totlay draw her with them if i drew her, i mean she had that stupid tatto on her back, she could hide it with her old custom ^-^

honestly had a bit of the same blah reaction to the new(wears jeans, has a tattoo on her back...i guess she is supposed to look 'modern') rachel summers as i did to the new satana(thinking here of witches series). honestly with rachel and satana the original costumes and concepts are so good no update is needed.

have you satana in the hood, omg i was yelling at the comics that day, the onlu person to draw her good in the moden age was the guy who did legion of monsters ^-^ and i agree with the stament, they think the characters need updating when they dont

Everything we do,you demonstrated here from doing not easy angles/poses, to jus sketching it out there, and not thinking too much on it. The idea is to get it done for the day so you're warmed up an ready to draw more(if necessary)
