I finally got my new tablet. Can you tell I had fun trying it out? 8D This pic was a bit adventurous for me. I don't usually go out of my way to do decent backgrounds or elaborate shading. It was exhausting but fun.The shark on the right with purple stripes is of course our beloved Streex. The one on the left is in fact an original character with a stolen name. Blades is an imperfect clone of Streex made by Paradigm, and as that suggests he's a whole lot nastier than the original. Naturally they don't get along...Fission City's not big enough for two egos of that size. Now with fanfic!
For those who weren't there in the early fandom days, Blades was the original name for Streex before they changed it to something more child friendly. I just hijacked the concept and made a character out of it. ^_^;

XD And I think DiC would tell me to shove off, but it's a nice dream. You know they rejected the name 'Blades' twice? The first time it was going to belong to Streex, and the second time it was gonna be for Haxx. I wish I knew the story behind that. >.> What's wrong with the name anyway?

I was a monster Street Shark fan right when they came out in 95, I own three tapes, all the original figures ie, Ripster, Streex, Jab, Slammu and the three villians Dr. Paranoid, Slash and Slobster and other misllanous stuff. The only ally I own is Moby Lick yeah I'm a dork. XD Never thought I'd ever find fans and it's a shame the series died so young.

D: A very belated reply here, sorry. I haven't been vising DA much in the last few months and I've been terrible about replying to comments.
I never got to own the toys, sadly, I just watched the cartoon, and now I wish I'd been better about taping them because you can't get half the episodes anymore. I'm still hoping for a DVD release, butI get the feeling the show was too unpopular to be worth it.
