the long lines seem to give it a more sad appeal and the way it stands... i like this. very nicely done and i can understand it too :smiles: great work.

Looks very good. I love that white-on-black-style. I am looking forward to the poem belonging to this. +fav

Okay I just got off work so my mind is fried BUT I am going to comment anyway. This is very good, and the meaning adds so much to it. A lot of emotion behind it.

yeah i have to agree, i like to think the child was saved... even if he did not live. i like how you did this in black and white. it's simply rendered, and i think that adds emotion to the piece. i like it, you should work on your mad drawing skills!!!

This is very sad,
and yet,
could be uplifting when I take some time to think about it a little.
The white on black vs. black on white is very strong and yet (to me) it symbolizes the light shining through the darkness.
I am not sure if this is what you were going for but I think it is great whichever way you look at it.
I would like to think that the child was infact saved, just not in a way that we automatically think.
Anyway, great job, I would not have had anyone else do this for you. I like the way that you have put this toghether.
