Description This is quick realization idea I've got tonight. My flat smell like hell! I re-done it many times but it can still be much better.

Enjoy photo. If you have any idea how to improve it share your thoughts

Good night everyone

Very pretty! If it were MY candle, a moth would be dying in it!! haha!! Every time I light a candle, a moth appears from nowhere and lands in the flame and everything goes dark!!

*sigh*!!!

Unbelieveable picture. The white candle in contrast against the dark of the black background is gorgeous. The smoke... so sensual and graceful, the wisps of smoke appear to have a light of their own and it looks so tangible and ghostly.
The amount of attempts you had to take to get this shot is well worth it in my opinion. Wonderful job.

wow, that is amazing. The smoke is captured in such a sense that you can tell that it wants to move, but also wants to be frozen in time, as it is now.

That grainy structure is big question to me... it looks like it consists of big amount of small objects. I never thought this before. Very interesting..

I'm not very sure about that crop. I would like if smoke at left will not be croped, next time I need to get more space around to have chance to crop it myself. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for comment

I see no need to improve this shot Jan....it is absolutely beautiful. The way the whisps of smoke were captured in that single moment in time.......I just love it.

As for your flat smelling like hell....well...can't help ya there.....maybe you need to do some cleaning???

Thanks for all that superlatives! I would be more happier if that smoke at left will not be cuted. But it was prety hard to have candle smoking nicely. That is true reason for that terrible smell I had here. I lighted it many many times. Two packs of matches gone for this I also needed closed windows because wind make that smoke disapear so quickly. After ~60 atempts it was realy awfull smel But big fun! )

BTW: That magic caled cleaning I discovered many months ago

I just love your sense of humor....

For all the work you did in trying to get the candle and smoke to burn correctly, I think it paid off nicely.

And I'm so glad to hear you discovered the magic of cleaning

I think it's beautiful like this.
THe smoke..
Is in a very sensual sort of a pose.
And the candle itself.
Screams passion.
Very wonderful shot.
