Do so, these two characters are awesome... but you'll have to sit through some hetero lovey-dovey ness as well that IS a bit annoying because it's too cheezy >_>

I just the 25th anniversary musical tour here in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. It was LIFE CHANGING *3*
With that said, I recognized the scene even before I even clicked on the thumbnail. GW looks a tad sadistic.... but, my god, it's hot.

GW would be a tad sadistic I'm afraid... XD
I like Quast too much as Javert... I know Norm Lewis is a very good actor but... I can't imagine a black Javert... And I know it sounds racist but... My first thought when I saw him playing Javert was "WAIT WHAT!? Weren't they all slaves still then!?"... ;_;
The friend who got me interested in Les Mis in teh first place thought something along the lines of that too when she saw him so I don't feel 100% like a bad person... just 50 ^^
Did you see the French Miniseries...? Really he moved that knife down so slowly over his chest... the only thing that was worse than that was actually the book because Javert was strapped on a frigging table... how much more "Innuendo-y" can you get!?!?

Ack, this took me forever to respond to. College is going to kill me.
The man who played Jean Valjean in the production I went to was black and my goodness, was he amazing. His presence had so much strength on stage. He was amazingly compatible with the actor that played Javert. His suicide scene was especially heart breaking.
In the version of that scene that I saw, Valjean threatened him with the shot gun that one of the barricade boys gave him or at least as far as I can remember. My memory's a tad fuzzy due to midterms.
Despite the undertaking, the book might be my project reading this summer while I work. I'm going to need something to keep me sane.
