I was waiting for this shot for some time and when the zebra finally turned its head to me, I wasn't sure the shot will come up right. Luckily it did. Taken in Zoo Dvur Kralove, May 2012.Related content

Yes, you're right, I should have lowered the EV so the shadow would be darker and white parts on the left wouldn't be overexposed. Unfortunately, it's a bit late to cry about it now since even mighty Lightroom is not that mighty to magically add structure to extremely overexposed parts. Thanks a lot for compliments, though

Yeah, I mean all you could try to do is fill light a little on the shadows, but still that will only help it a little.
