We need more people joining, and if you join up because you saw this link given to you by me here, please say so in a comment! This chart is here to show that the dragons have more shades of color besides the base tones, even in traditional dragons. We hope that in showing these extra colors we can entice you to join up! It's fun, and the plot takes place in a time after the AIVAS saga, Thread is gone from pern, and there was peace. So much peace in fact, that with growing knowledge and computers, people became more curious about genetics........|dundundun| You'll have to read the history found here:

I have an elemental dragon rp forum xD I really don't have the time to run a Pern RP too, but people are welcome to reference my charts if they make a site. {There are dragon bondings there, similar but on a different scale to Pern, lots more artistic freedom etc}

I'm really looking for Weyr roleplays right now. I'm part of a forum and active in what roleplays I can be in there. So far I know of Red River Weyr, but they seem well-established enough that I would feel awkward and out of place. I'm looking at Skyline Weyr, but I'm not sure yet.

First of all I think this is Amazing!
I realise that the suggestion I'm about to make is not likely to fly, as you did this for a group of people who I'd imagine all had a hand in setting the parameters but an idea occurred to me so I thought I'd humbly share.
My thought(s) for you was a way to make your non-canon dragon colors coincide with the original set-up Anne had, B for boys and G for girls.
If Blood dragons were called Garnet they'd follow the original rule, and Garnet is a shade of Red.
And if the Azure, were Gilded then they'd follow it as well. Also Gilded means touched with Gold so it fits.
Grey already does, and Black mostly does.
The Champagne, is less a color class and more a very pale array of Bronze so, they already fit as well really.
My suggestions aside though this is incredible work.

XD I'd probably suggest it to the creators of the colors, but they put so much into it and its been around for a while now, though the alternate naming of colors you propose does strike my fancy XD
I need to add a couple on here, or do a chart of some individual dragons born from the Weyr, as they were messed up XD
(My own Azure, Harlequeeth, has two fused faces but is otherwise a sparkly little lady XD! and the queen of the clutch ended up almost orange red and gold, like a monarch butterfly, so I might have to go and draw them out X3

Oh my GOD this must have taken you FOREVER to do! Absolute kudos to you! It's fabulous! ^_^ And even though I'm a massive Pern fan, I love your sport colours - especially the Azure, Black and Grey. They're awesome.
I'm looking at the RP notes at the moment, though I'm debating whether or not to join... I have a lot on my plate at the moment, and don't know if I can commit.

Haha, this took like...A week XD
The sport colors are the mental property of some friends of mine, (admins of the rp site), basicly the people of pern (in the future set, post AIVAS time) have been tinkering with dragon dna XD! o teh noses. Steroids makin buffed up dragons, war breaks out, weyrs fight, a hatching was poisoned and the new colors arose. The most recent hatching have even produced some chimera colored ones!
