~ INKTOBER: DAY 1 ~

(Used: Kraft cardstock, fineliner, Pentel brush pen)

I've seen people participate in Inktober in years past, so I knew I wanted to give it a shot and not let it pass me by this year. It still ended up sneaking up on me in the end.

Since today is the first day of Inktober AND my mother’s birthday, I decided to kill two birds with one stone. My mother collects Barbies, so I drew the original 1959 Barbie for her since it’s one of her favorites. (She loved the drawing, by the way!)

Expect my entries for Inktober to be quite varied. I'm someone who doesn't always like sticking with routine, so I will likely try a lot of different techniques and subject matter.
