Mighty and Ray, Mightyyyy and Rayyyy!~
This is actually fairly old, can you tell?

Gijinkas! The designs for these two are a bit outdated. I've had a few people mistake my design for Mighty as a female, whoops.
I've sorta been in the works of making a new design for him, though nothing's really definite as of yet! He's probably going to look more manly desu and more traveler-esque.
As for Ray, his design could probably use a few tweaks as well. I sorta drew the design for him here as spur of the moment with no real planning.
He does reference several designs of Archie Ray throughout the years. Note the jacket/shoes, (modern day Ray, minus the greener sleeves) color scheme on his shorts (Ray from around like, issue 138), and the collar he's wearing. (the collar is from Knuckles #26, while the gem is supposed to resemble the Power Gem Ray clinged to in Knuckles #28!)

Anyway, enough rambling on about the designs!
I've had this picture outlined and colored for heaven knows how long, so I figured I'd do it some justice and give it a spiffy background.
I used autumn-like colors, though that wasn't intentional, I swear!

Tools used:
Drawing portion: Pencil (sketch), Prismacolor markers (color), Prismacolor fineliners (various widths, I'd say mainly .03 and .05 for the lineart)
Background portion: Cardstock paper mounted on regular computer paper, various markers/Sharpies, white paint pen, scissors, doubled-sided tape (for placing the drawing on top of the cardstock)

Any questions/comments/critisism are welcome and greatly appreciated!
