Thanks very much. I think you are right, about the fragility of nature, and of living things. Nature is so vastly indifferent to our survival or destruction...it is nice to realize that sometimes harsh defenses are necessary to maintain even a basic way of life.

It's so describing but in the same time doesn-t reveal much in adition to figures. I like the tenderness of the lines- you can kind of feel them how fragile and fine these creatures are!

I find graphite to be one of my favorite mediums.
