What does UV sealed mean?

This means the works are varnished with an archival ultraviolet protectant that keeps the works from fading out (color detail etc.) over time due to normal exposure to UV rays in sunlight.
I typically use Krylon Gallery Series UV Archival Varnish. With proper care this can extend the life of prints and artworks of many media, so they are archival for 150-200 or more years.

Ohhh I see. But if it's proper pigment it shouldn't fade out should it?

Using the recommended manufacturer's material means they can tell you how long it is supposed to last. If someone leaves it in direct sunlight for a year, it could still accelerate the fading.
Adding varnish and archival sealants that are designed specifically to block the UV rays will extend the life of the work. No one should be hanging paintings in direct sun anyway, but I've seen it happen.
There was a library that had a portrait hanging where the sun would shine directly on it, every day for about 50 years or more. Hard to guess what condition that will be in 100 years from now.

Ha, great description! I always wondered, in England, would that just be called a "muffin" ?

These do become quite organic.

Great work! Successful nonobjective works are awesome. One thing though... I would crop the background out of the photo. Professional presentation and whatnot. I like the way you lit it for the photo, and how it emphasizes the texture. Thumbs up.

Thanks very much. Not a bad call on the cropping too.
