Lol Because I'm a lazy c*nt, I thought I'd post some unfinished sketches that I'm working on. So when it came to these two sketches, I did each one with two different drafting pencils, both Pentel, but one's a Graphgear 500, but the other one's a Graphgear 1000. I've been using the 500 for a while, but I've seen other artists use the 1000 so I thought I'd give it a try (I hoped that if I used the materials professionals use, I would be able draw as well as them...). But I've been having trouble getting used to the 1000. It's probably just because I'm so used to the 500, that I have trouble with the 1000, but it's already been a month using the 1000, and I feel like the quality of my art has degraded (which is why I'm resorting to just submitting unfinished sketches lol).

In all seriousness though, to other artists, if any of you have used these pencils, which do you prefer or, in your opinion, is more suited for drawing? For me, it feels easier drawing with the 500 but I've seen a lot of artists use the 1000 quite easily.
