I drew most of it out first, scanned it then colored it on photoshop. I didn't know how to use the pen tool so it took FOREVER
For the castle, I just pieced parts of other buildings together.

I can see that; it's because they don't really go with the background. I'm not great at backgrounds so I try shortcuts which are usually unsuccessful.
