Summary:
College was the most turbulent chapter in Val’s life.
During this point, Val was friends with Daria (who went by Tony at the time)
Because of their “friendship” this led to many disagreements between Val and Laura. Laura cut all contact with Tony years ago due to his toxic behaviour. Laura even tried to convince Val to finally ditch him. Unfortunately Val is very stubborn, continuing to be friends with him. This eventually led to Laura making the difficult decision to kick Val out of her apartment.
Eventually, Val would have a nasty falling out with Tony after a humiliating incident that he instigated led to Val and Julian’s (Val’s boyfriend at the time) expulsion from the college.
