I have a blog, and recently decided to start doing all my own artwork and images for it.

I decided on pixel art because I think it's awesome, and it avoided the need for extensive muscle memory and skill before I could produce something small, and publishable.

I've done a couple of great tutorials which showed me just how much creativity is involved, even in small, simple 8-bit style sprites. So really excited to learn more and get better.

This was my first complete image.

Obviously there's a long way to go before I create something truly worthwhile.

But it's a start.

Any tips, comments, advice welcome.
