Which font? If it is the one on the main window, you have to go to Preferences->Classic skins, then allow Winamp to use bitmap fonts on the main window. But if you want to change the fonts in other windows, the font name must be specified in the config file embedded in skin file (PLEDIT, as far as I know); In this case, if the font file is not a default Windows font, it must be embedded in the skin file, too.

thats how i fixed this stuff
See description at this deviation:
I used the font 'Terminal'. (Only embedded in the bitmap ofcourse)
The playlist font is just Arial, size @ 10 pixels.
You can put it on that size @ Preferences > Display. (using winamp 2.91 oldskool ^^ thats the best)

Lol, i lost it too.. I just made this by changing the colors of the previous version of Slender ^^
