Liquid:
Although very soft, sectile and malleable, Thallium is, in its standard state, a solid. The melting point of Thallium is 304°C. It is humanly impossible for Darnell to reach that temperature.
Most Thallium compounds are highly soluble and are quickly absorbed by water. The human body is 50 to 75% water, along with other elements found in the human body. Darnell can create Thallium sulfate from inside his body, mix them with the water present in his body, and excrete them in the form of sweat, or pretty much anything in liquid form.
This mixture is highly toxic and poisonous when given the right dosage, as well as it is odorless and tasteless (if you are a sick bastard with that kind of kink).

The poison can be absorbed through any form of contact.
The effects of this poison are slow and painful and have wide-ranging symptoms that are often suggestive of a host of other illnesses and conditions. In other words, when you die, no one would suspect that you died from Thallium poisoning.
Most common symptoms of Thallium poisoning are hair loss and damage to peripheral nerves.
(A little note, Thallium by itself is not soluble and can only be if it’s a compound.)
(A certain mixture of compounds and water that are formed in his body is also responsible for his heaviness, despite having a below average build.)

Like the characteristics of his element, Darnell appears to be weak—which is, to be exact, slightly true. There is nothing special with Darnell aside from his bodily fluids being highly toxic and he is also prone to accidents.

When he comes into contact with fire, his body emits a bright green colour.

*Darnell can not stay anywhere that has no proper ventilation, or else he’ll accidentally poison himself.
**There is an antidote for Thallium poisoning, it’s a pigment called Prussian Blue.

He’s naturally shy, although he gives the impression of a snob, making it even harder for him to socialize. He appreciates the beauty in anything and would take his time to admire them.

Although he prefers being alone (only because he is scared he might accidentally poison someone and he won’t be able to save them [Although he carries the antidote with him at all times, in case that happens]), he doesn’t like feeling lonely and appreciates company.

But that also depends on what kind of person the other party is. He’s very careful of his actions anywhere he goes, seeing as he can be a bit of a klutz sometimes.

Bio
His father used to work in a coal burning power plant. When he turned 17, his father decided to give him a tour, expecting Darnell to be interested in his line of work and maybe follow his father’s footsteps and work there as well.

Although taking safety precautions, it wasn't enough to make the workplace 100% safe. And on that day, the day Darnell was taken in for a tour, there was a leakage. Every worker was warned to evacuate the affected area, but Darnell and his father didn't get the warning as they went through a different route (although his father was given permission to tour him around, that certain area was off-limits to visitors.)
Since Thallium is odorless, they didn't realize they were already inhaling toxic emissions. Darnell started to grow weak and sick and pleaded for his father to get him home. His father does so and they left the power plant as if nothing happened.

Just before Darnell’s birthday, his father passed away. No one knew what kind of illness he got. He just…died. Ever since that tour, Darnell’s father started getting weak. The first few weeks, he started feel numb, and then after that, he felt pain.

He even started going bald. And soon enough, he became very sensitive to touch and he felt agonizing pain in his whole body, as if he was burning. Darnell didn't know what to do. His whole family didn't. They couldn't do anything but watch his father weaken, bed-ridden at a hospital, until he succumbed to death.
Before his father’s death, he started to notice changes in his body. He became heavier, even though he was not building up and his physique remained the same. When asked to cook for the family, he was shocked when his skin suddenly glowed a bright green.

Heck, his once beautiful blue eyes (that only he got from his father) became green. And one time—while feeding the stray cat that always roams near their home, he was a bit sweaty from the daily chores, and set down the bowl of milk he always gives the lovely cat, carelessly dipping his thumb on it. As soon as the cat finished its bowl of milk, it suddenly died.

He grew scared, anxious. He didn't know what was happening to him. He started cutting ties with everyone he knew and oved, scared that he might kill them. He thought back on the day his father took him to the power plant and began to wonder. Why was it only his father that became like that? What happened to him?

On the day of his father’s funeral, he caught sight of suspicious-looking men, talking to his mother. He saw his mother turn to him briefly; she looked worried. He saw her sigh and nod, and walked towards him, along with those suspicious men.

He stared at them, he didn't know why but… He didn't feel fear. Not in the slightest. He could only widen his eyes as he was told about what those men came for.

“Along with your father, today, you shall bid farewell to your family and friends,”

(A little note about the story with his father taking him to the power plant, it was actually inspired by my papa touring me to the coal burning power plant he worked at, although we were not allowed in [he just drove us around and explained stuff he did there] and he mentioned something about a chemical that was odorless and deadly and could kill you immediately and it can only be detected with a special device that some of the personnel have. When I researched about Thallium, I found that it was also a kind of by-product in those power plants, except from what I've researched, its effects were slow and not the "immediate death" my papa was talking about so.. I don't know if papa was talking about a different thing or he was exaggerating //slapped)
