The body is really well painted, the hand is done flawless and the transition at the head, from the head to the cracks and flame is pretty good.
Also u stayed in your style, there is nothing overpainted or not detailed enough, it all matches.
The flames in general are very nice, even the almost white glowing sparks are not too many.
Only negative thing i see here is that you could have painted it in a square, because you have a worthy album cover here.

Well, the rough translation of the french text from the song i went by mainly, states that this is a god on fire (fire representing either knowledge or ascension), the agony part is true tho

I love how you captured the expression of the torment in his face even without drawing the eyes, something i would never be able to do. The agony is painfully believable. I also love the pose, which is just the right balance between elegance and grace and torment at the same time. The fire effect and the lightening, with which the flames illuminate the body are wonderful. I particularly like the left hand, the way it is half cramped up but also reaching. Great piece

So i tried to make the character appear having a painful experience while keeping some elements of "power". Not sure if that was truly successful

I first would like to say that the image is well-painted. The fire effect and the lightening are wonderful. I especially love how the left hand is painted and how the veins are visible. I also like how you managed to convey an expression of both anger and agony.
I do believe that you need to fix the torso. Initially it seems that the ribcage may be too small in the perspective that you used. If you expand the ribcage to a small extent, then it helps the foreshortening. I tried to find an adequate image, but was hard to find an image in the exact angle as your work. fav.me/da31iq

I'll check it out but i doubt i will be fixing these pieces anytime soon, i think it would be better for improvement to just keep errors in mind and not repeat them on new works
