Description An excellent example of the impact the right kind of lighting can have! I'm quite pleased with how this image came out... Was just waiting for a Victorian-era London set to be released before doing this. It's not quite how I imagined it, but the addition of an unsuspecting victim makes it more compelling.

It's my spin on Count Orlok, from the silent black and white vampire film, 'Nosferatu: Eine Symphonie Des Grauens' (translated as, 'Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror'). As a story which was heavily based on Bram Stoker's famous novel, I decided to try and merge Orlok with Dracula's choice of clothing - and it works fairly well! Just as well, really, as I don't have a costume which could emulate Orlok's own. So, as the original Dracula intended to come to Victorian London, this is my 'what if' of Orlok travelling to the same.

There is actually an updating of the original film being made and I love the mask they've made for Orlok, but if you're going to try and portray him, then it needs to be done with the rat-like fang aesthetic, not sharp canines!

Interesting to know. The composition of the frame is actually quite accidental, because I had to hide some of Orlok's posing on the legs, which didn't look right (and I didn't really have the time to correct), but the 'waist-up' effect looked better - and works better for the resolution ratio.

I actually tried to get his eyes to glow slightly red, but it had some unexplained, weird 'cracking' effects on that particular skin, which made it look like someone had drawn over his face with a black crayon, for some reason! Works just as well without it, however.

Useful comment. Thank you!
