I gamboled about in my woods today in glorious celebration of the spring that is finally beginning to show itself properly. (I was also celebrating the fact that I found some absolutely spiffing gloves at the thrift shop and had then completed my elegant outfit.) The weather was amazing, and I took several photos. This is my favourite of the shoot; you may see others later, as well as further Banui Outdoors Gamboling In The Greenness sorts of photos that I will most likely be taking voraciously.

VICTORIAN CLOTHES. SQUEE. This is so pretty. I love the shadows, the patterns in the trees, the color (even though I know you must have added that--but all the same, it looks perfect and soft and alive), the way you're positioned, the shawl (or whatever that is, exactly, that you're holding)...lovely.

Heh. Yeah, me too. I looked at the pictures I'd taken afterward and went "what the PLAGUE?!" The gown's been in my closet since May (and a brief outing in December to a friend's Victorian Christmas party), and it looks as if I might have to iron it if I'm going to wear it again!
