This is one of my "Artist Avatar Challenge" submissions. This artist avatar, Lady Lazuli, is a world famous ice skating witch with a profound passion for sculpting. She performs non-standard routines before millions of people. In each routine she gracefully dances around large blocks of ice she conjures prior to her performance, slowly chipping away at them with her custom skates until beautiful, icy artworks remains. Her art as well as her performance are fleeting until the next time she sets foot on the ice.
