Description I hated being around people when I was a kid, still kind of do. I created the character Krator based on myself at the age of 7. He was a wolven creature born with stone-like tumors on him that burdened him, making it impossible for him to participate with the other cubs in his pack. He spent a lot of time isolated by his own genetics. The robot Topside came along one day and took Krator up into the atmosphere, making it possible for the young cub to develop the muscle mass he needed to support his own weight. Krator's tumors symbolized my anxiety and need to be alone, and turned out to be armor that was nearly impenetrable in the story; combined with heightened strength and reflexes, this made the character practically unstoppable. Topside represents the movies, television, and video games (technology) I used to escape into as a child. The other characters showed up later in supporting roles, but the stories revolved mostly around Krator & Topside and their space adventures. I had a lot of fun day-dreaming about these two.
