Changes are never easy for Selena to predict. The most she knows that hitting some emotional limit seems to induce the transformation to Super Nova. Not certain why this is the case, perhaps when the Selena personality becomes too unstable it provides an opportunity for Super Nova to emerge forth. It is uncertain why a personality like Selena is not entirely overruled by her more forceful other self, but for the safety of other it is a welcome thing.

She shuddered the powerful force that awakened deep inside making her unsteady. A feeble protest escaped her list, but Selena knew that it would amount to little more then wishful thinking. Super Nova was coming and all Selena could do was feebly protest and struggle vainly against the change. Her arms hugged herself while she felt the contour of her body starting to swell larger. Noticeably she could feel the bosoms pressing down over the top of her arms as they too started to swell larger. The clothes felt tighter while her skin already started to shift to a bluish pallor.
