Description
After a long day Eydis loves to coil up on the mountain of pillows she has collected over the years in her apartment. All she needs is a large cup of tea, turning on whatever television show is on and maybe a large plush to cuddle up with & she'd be in heaven.Eydis lounging on a mountain of pillows. That is one thing I've been wanting to draw for years and I am so surprised how well it came out!
Did some practice background soft shading, still struggling with the backgrounds but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

I myself struggle with.... fabric... but also the skin... flexibility, that is to say I tend to have trouble placing where the limbs fold and other such but I think you did rather well. Β At least as well as I can tell zooming in with an iPhone, I admire most how well you blended the scale patterns with the underbelly. Β Smooth color transition isn't my strongsuit, I claim this photo as reference material

I think her eyes should've been more narrow, but it's still very beautiful, and fits the environment well~

The eyes just seem to...I dunno. I just feel like her eyes should be partly closed, I feel like it lacks expression. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, it's only my opinion.I'm sure I could get into a war with all the people who don't agree with me 030'

Ah, alright. True, giving her the bedroom eyes certainly would make the atmosphere of the image look sexy. However as I was drawing it the motivation I felt for her was that she is paying attention to someone retelling a story off panel. It really wouldn't fit there, at least how I have her built up in my head so far.
