WOW!! Great shading, except the skin, which looks blotchy and...odd. Loooove how his hair looks, and the pants, too. Did you mean for the background to have such a sharp contrast between light and dark? If so, maybe you could try to make the lines cleaner, and if you ment for it to blend more, well then blend more ^_^. What are the words on the background? My screen is evil, so I cant see it. Great pic overall! *steals*

I've got no complaints on the pants but the skin bothers me. The way you did a darker area around the highlights looks weird, to be honest. Is this in B & W in nature as well? It might be just that it looks okay normally with colors but B & W makes it weird.

I don't think you destroyed it at all! You shaded his pants so prettily... *lurves* It's gorgeous! And I like what you've done with the background, too. What medium did you use for it? It doesn't look like markers. o_O;

It's pastel, on the background. XD I found them in my desk, and I was like, "SQUEE!!! PASTELS!!!!" And the rest... is history!
