Nice. I can tell by all the brush work around and above her hair that the settings of your monitor aren't as bright as mine.

1) If they can't even see it, then how could they?
2) Them (the artist) not being able to see it doesn't mean others viewing it cannot. You have to take that into consideration if you're creating art for others' appreciation. Especially in the case of commission work.
3) The image you see above is updated, it's not the same image that my initial comment was directed at.

It's amazing how different pictures can look when seen on two different monitors.
I often notice it between my work and private PCs (the latter having a "slightly" better monitor since not mainly being used for text & tables) with pictures I think look fine on the former and suddenly seeming kinda off on the latter.

I know what you mean. When I bought a new computer after having done so much work with my previous PC, I wanted to edit/delete so much of my previously released work once I saw just how much of the details I thought were hidden were actually visible all this time. Brush strokes, smudging, layer masking seams-- ugh, I couldn't see ANY of that on my old computer but my new LCD lit everything up like an x-ray backlight. I felt so exposed...
