Description
This was mainly a bg practise but since it looked kinda empty, I added Spyro and Sparx
Fail. Oh well.
I srsly need to keep on practising bg's.
Yeah, I still got that art block. This picture slept on my computer for over a month now and I just added some details and textures here and there today. No big thing.
It's supposed to be a fake scene from Spyro 2. Look, an orb. Go and catch it to kick Ripto's butt~ Good old times...
I forgot something in that pic... But I forgot what

I really, really like what you did to this marvilious piece of art. You think its a fail; I think its beautiful (: This looks pro, like, pro cute! I like the shine on the two lonely gems by the crab. AW MA GOD! *Ladet PS1 Emulator runter und zockt Spyro 2*
Ehrlich, das Bild gab mir einen üblen Nostalgia kick. Sofort wieder erkennbar und dafür kriegst du +1k "Win" Punkte.
Jedoch, hab ich auch ein bisschen Kritik:
Die Anatomie von Spyro ist ziemlich gut jedoch find ich immernoch das deine Schattierungen zu "schwammig" sind. Versuch doch ein bisschen Cel-Shading.
Sparx glitzer effekt ist schön, aber sein Körper und Flügel sind zu dick. Dies ist generell eine Sache bei dir, manchmal solltest du versuchen Dinge "feiner und kleiner" zu zeichnen, mit ein bisschen mehr Details. Kostet nicht viel extra zeit und macht einen Unterschied aus.
Das Grass ist super, es sieht "trocken" aus, es sieht fein aus und passt zu dem Strand aber ich denke du könntest sie ev. ein bisschen weniger statisch zeichnen. Ev. sollten sie sich mti dem Wind bewegen oder so.
Der Zaun ganz hintern ist super, es verleiht das Gefühl von Tiefe und zeigt ganz klar das dies eine Szene von Spyro 2 ist aber das Wasser, wie Darkdra bereits erwähnte, sollte ev. durchsichtig sein. Das kannst du erreichen indem du ev. zb. Vasen mit Rubinen und einen Boden als Layer drunter zeichnest und das Wasser dann auf 50% runtersetzt. Spiel und experementier ein wenig.
Und last bur certainly not least, ich hab schon die Schattierungen bei den Charakteren erwähnt aber ganz wichtig sind noch die Schatten im "BG". Und da dies eine übung für BGs sein soll, solltest du daran noch arbeiten. Denn, du hast ein Sonnenuntergang gezeichnet. Hell scheint sie am Horizont und das sieht gut aus aber wieso zeichnet sie dann keine Schatten? Mit diesem Winkel sollte das Brett im Wasser, wie auch die Objekte darauf sehr lange Schatten ziehen. Das gilt auch für den Stein, die Krabbe und die Rubine. Die hälfte von Spyro sollte eig. in einem Schatten verdeckt sein. Dies würde diesem Bild soviel mehr glaubwürdigkeit und stärke schenken.

Das einzige, was mir aufgefallen ist, ist, dass die Flügel von Sparx auf dem Rücken anfangen und nicht an den Körperseiten

Ich selbst kann keine guten Hintergründe malen. Wenn, dann entweder abstrakt oder gar nix
