Wanted to do something simple after all that painful grayscaling and didn't feel up to complex colors.This has gotta be one of my favorite Fire Emblem pairings, probably because it's because it satisfies the little girl princess x knight shipper inside of me. <3 (And he obviously lurves her, esp in Radiant Dawn 8D)
There's nothing quite like Fire Emblem that embodies so many fairy tale tropes. Princes and Princesses trapizing everywhere, reclaiming kingdoms from evil relatives, going on epic adventures to find rocks/swords/piecesofjewelery, and, in this case, riding in on your white horse at breakneck speed to rescue the princess. So cute |D

I'm not one who likes Elincia/Geoffrey, but, I guess I'm warming up to it slightly. And I only have PoR, so I don't really know just >how< much Geoffrey really likes her in RD.

I actually don't know how much Geoffrey liked her either (it was more of a feeling), but I do know that she and Ike get about negative one interaction in that game (which I am totally fine with XD). I'm really glad you are warming up to it though, this is one of my favorite Tellius pairings, though I have a zillion others.

Ah, I don't think she is so bad! (That is, after I dumped seventeen levels of bexp on her...) I think she is a bit more likeable in the next game, and she is not so painfully weak anymore.

I know! I always felt that way as well. The only real chemistry I saw between them was in that last cutscene. Then, everything really got knocked down in Radiant Dawn. Ike runs off with Soren instead and Geoffrey and Elincia get married!

I remember going through your gallery before but for some reason I'm only watching you know. I was going through my periodic "What's new for Fire Emblem" search and this caught my eye. I'm not fond of Geoffrey/Elincia but that can't stop me from liking this. Niiiice colors, composition, and, well, it's cute.

(I don't think I've ever told you this out of fear of being creepy, but you are one of my favorite artists ever and I get very excited when you post something new. Good thing that that is often.)
I dislike doing generic searches myself... because... I dislike having to trawl through all kinds of stuff. I think I found you through the favorites of artists that were favorited from other artists that were favorited from artists that were artists that I watch |D It's like the trickle down economic theory!
You like Ike/Elincia right? RD kind of killed that, as well as butchering Ike/Lethe along the way. Still, it is a major supporter of Ike/Soren so I simply cannot fault that game |D. Geoffrey/Elincia doesn't have much in-game basis (not any more than Elincia/Lucia or anything else) but it is cute and, as stated in the comments, satisfies the little girl inside me.

They're just toned down versions of the official colors, the only thing I really gave color to was the faces! I think it's more of how the colors are presented, they have to work as an extension of your picture /endlecture

There's no clouds in this picture
But ah, it is best to remember that clouds are a three dimensional shape and generally they have flat bottoms, like they are resting on something. The tops are fluffy, and you can go crazy with them cause clouds are always changing shape. It is good to vary the size of the clouds - if you have a very dominating big one, then add some miniature ones around it with different shapes. Also, clouds exist in a 3d space and you can create space by putting them behind each other. Clouds serve as a great way for doing whatever you want for the composition of your picture. They can point to something, frame a focus, add randomness to staticity....
TL;DR clouds can do lots of things.
Maybe I should write a "tutorial". It's time for a journal update anyway.
