Bah! finally finished! LOLThis is a steampunk deer for =emgeal
=emgeal asked for two other steampunk creatures, and the third one a hooved animal. I just made it simple and made it a deer.
Simple? no! I have never done anything like this, its usually just animals and people. Never mechanical shiznets like this!! *diez* I still have two other steampunk requests from this customer.
and two others from another customer. Hopefully Ill get the hang of it by then! LOL

Now, question for you. Is this what you wanted? or were you expecting more of a...cyborg touch to the animals?
Please explain. would you want the other two part steampunk part animal? or full out steampunk mechanical like this?

This is absolutely incredibly amazing! This is far more mechanical then I expected (not a bad thing). The type of mechanics/colors you've got there are perfect.
I love the bellows for the lungs and how the furnace is in it's hip. The springs and cording fit really well and I love the use of gears for the main movement of the front legs. The steam output on the neck and the headlight eyes are also amazing. I could really see this walking around under it's own power! If there's anything else I forgot to mention I love that too. xD
I realize that you underpriced your art a lot so just point blank if you'd prefer not to do the other two that would be fine. I would certainly have paid 30 points for simply this one. If you decide to go ahead and do them any mix of steampunk and animal is fine, whatever you feel like doing. Honestly most of the time when people make a steampunk design they color a few gears on them and maybe make a cool necklace. If you wanted to do more like this that would be absolutely fabulous, but more animal would be fine too.
