yeah it was intentional, i didn't know how it would turn out, i was experimenting with an old camera using different films. i really liked the result though

But I think it would be better without an arm there.
it leads out into the photo, but nothing leads you out or around.
And perhaps dodge the left side?

it was hard for me to focus it since i had to place the camera on a table on top of loads of books to obtain the desired height and angle...

i just started the timer and sat at the piano and started playing. that's how i captured the motion.
what you suggested about the contrast could work but i think it's a matter of personal taste and i like it this way..
