A being who represents the demonic blood that flows within the heirs of the Cerdansa clan. Among the billions of demonic blood cells fighting to become the sole representative, Sângfrit (his true name) fought and deceived his way to become the one to manipulate the host to demonhood.

Vin met him while fighting the Rift Beast and the claw that tapped his mind created rift like portals to open more than 15% of his mind, including the mental door that stands out. Only he, among the past generational heirs has personally met his vile spitting image. His persona resides inside the deepest of the host's subconscious thoughts known as the Subconscious Domain which sounds similar to Finn's Vault.

He basically owns Vin's body and could've done as he pleases just because he's older like roughly 1200 years but in most cases, he couldn't so the only thing he can do is talk to him mentally and abuse him in his dreams until he succumbs. His role ever since is to torment the heir if he has ever met them in any way. He is called True Self because of the obvious demonic nature that has been passed on for more than a thousand years and also made the heir to carry the burden of the destiny set in stone to become the new Evil Lord of the Nightosphere, let alone Hunson Abadeer's high expectations for the accursed heir to become evil even though the heirs haven't done a single mortally evil deed.

The design on his legs covered in bloody goo is loosely based on a Heroes of Newerth hero, Circe the Deceiver.

My wish voice actor for True Self is Billy Lush for his vocal likeness of The Outsider from Dishonored. His mysteriously, sinister and monotonic voice fits well for an ancient subconscious blood demon.
