EVENT XXXII Prompt C | Battle Royale | 20wc + Conch Shell
Evv didn't enjoy just how much Monarch looked down on him and those he cared about. The man could only endure so many snide, or sugar coated remarks and looks. It only took a few extra jabs at the sleep deprived cat while the others were away doing what they were doing to get him to snap. He'd spare no hesitation in unsheathing his cane sword and striking at the moth man. The first strike hit his side and sent the taller man running. That started the chase. A cruel game of cat and mouse, with Monarch trying to get out of the way of the weapon and any moves that were thrust his way. Despite being slightly stronger than the cat, he couldn't outrun or endure him.
Eventually the wounds slowed him down enough that he had to lean against a wall to try and catch his breath, stumbling he fell to his knees as the Zeraora caught up to him. A wicked grin and the crackling of electricity. This was the end of the game.
Monarch has temporarily died.
