Description "And there, at the end of the world, Senta von Rothschild saw the city of the Gods. She had no words to describe what she saw in Jerusalem. Thousands of cottages, all pressed tightly against each other. Hollow mountains, filled with gold and fragrances. Towers of stone, higher than treetops, from which rang enormous metal drums. There were the most elaborate paintings paintings she had ever seen, in colors she never thought could be painted, and they were used as the floor. Countless humans. The market was a ceaseless ocean of people, lined by little rooms made of wood, where she was overwhelmed by the massive quantities and endless varieties of food and clothing and trinkets and weapons and animals. In ten minutes, what she had seen could have sustained every tribe within a hundred miles of her home for a full year.

She knew then that she had never truly lived, nor had any of her tribe; for how could their bleak, arduous cling to survival be called life, when such wonders existed? She must bring them this vision."
