The immediate "feel" of the picture is the first thing that comes off, and it's a very mysterious and warm feeling which is nice. The upturned face and the hair composition help bring it off, but I can't help but feel like it's a little stagnantly posed. What I mean by that is that if you were to draw a line where her eyes are and a line at her collarbone (and presumably her chest but I wouldn't know) then they'd all be parallel. If you tilted them so that instead of being parallel, those lines were crooked and at sharp angles with one another, then it would look a lot more dynamic.

On the subject of composition, you can strengthen most poses by moving the subject off to the side, about of third of the way across. When the subject is in the middle, that normally implies some level of symmetry is going to be used to keep the viewer's eye on the center (where the face is), but given her pose and her hair being blown to one side, the viewer looks there instead of at her.

I know you were worried about the background, but don't be! It's honestly just fine as it is, and I love how it matches her eyes and how it blends with the golds. The only thing I would say about it is not being afraid to put a few more light or saturated colors in it, because it seems like some of the highlights in her hair or her eyes ect are brighter than the sky around it, giving it a sort of unintentionally unnatural look. This could easily be fixed by having more whites ect in the background.

All in all, it looks really good! (and I noticed for the first time that you use the mouse WHAT)

Hello again! It's nice to see that you are practicing with lighting and background... Those things are always fun to experiment with. You have done such a nice work! I think it looks good.Β

I'm no expert at background or such since I'm a beginner myself, but I guess my advice would be to start playing more with the colors. For example, you can try adding color to your lineart (instead of it just being plain black). You'll be surprised to how softer your drawing would look overall. Try practicing with more detail, especially with the hair. I absolutely love how you draw yours, and there's definitely more room for improvement.Β

Although your drawings are really nice as it is, I would really love to see you get betterΒ  Β

Hi! I see that you've requested critique on this piece, and I'm here to give you one

I agree with the previous commenter, your coloring is gorgeous and your lighting is done really well . Your background looks really serene and beautiful, with the wind gently blowing the crops towards the girl.

I really like how you drew the girl's billowing hair, as well as her gorgeous emerald eyes. I also like how her earrings are being blown in the same direction, while her necklace stays in place, signifying the difference in weight between them. That said, I feel like her eyes are too far apart, and too close to the edges of her face. As shown in this model , the eyes should be around an eye-width apart, and at least half an eye's width away from the edge of the face.Β

Hope this helps, and keep up the wonderful work! Β
