Description This one is also pretty darn old, but still accurate. Ornitholestes hermanni was a basal Tyrannoraptoran, found in Morrison formation in modern USA, and in sediments dated to be ca. 154 million years old, putting Ornitholestes in late Kimmeridgian epoch of Jurassic period. It most likely fed on smaller animals, as well as eggs of other dinosaurs that shared the ecosystem with it, as it could not compete with mostly larger predators, such as Ceratosaurus nasicornis, Allosaurus fragillis, Marshosaurus bicentesimus, etc.

Cute, but I think the muzzle shall be a bit longer. Not too much.

Cranium might seem like it is axially compressed due to the skin membrane between the mandible and cervical, but in reality it's not. Pay attention at the lower contour of the mandible, not the membrane contour. By the way, by "muzzle" I'm assuming that you mean rostrum, and it was not really axially elongated, aamof. It was pretty compressed, compared to some basal coelurosaurian rostra.

Oh, and it's not meant to be cute, it's meant to be as accurate as possible, although not many publications were made regarding dermal and muscular anatomy of O. hermanni, so I tried my best to "fill the gaps" based on more frequently studied phylogenic relatives of Ornitholestes.
