"Cherish every moment with the ones you love,you'll never know when it will be over..."I was inspired to draw this by the song "Cherish" from Ai Otsuka.It was so sad...I imideately had this scene in front of me. (the song: [link] )
In the pic are (from left to right) Nolan,Edward,Leonardo,Sothe,Micaiah from the Dawn Brigade) c Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
Edward was the most endangered because of his reckless fighting style,always taking on more enemies at once.This time however ,his overconfidence costed his life...
I bet you're asking why I like killing people,huh?
I don't really know either!.Maybe...it is the feeling of the last and strongest of affection towards the ones who die...
You'll always remember the good things about the person.
Unfortunately one isn't barely able to see the good characteristic features of the others...
until death.
It seems that poor Leonardo suffers most from his death,for Edward was his best friend.
Now,it all ends because of Edwards reckless behaviour...
Leonardo would have nagged at him again,at how careless he was "How many times did I tell you to be more careful?Don't overrestimate your abilities.Our enemies are everywhere..."
How could e be so selfish to leave everyone behind?
To leave him behind?....

wow this scene is absolutely sad. i would always restart the chapter whenever one of my characters dies because of either the RNG treating me like a bitch or my careless actions. even when i don't really use Eddy as much as the other swordmasters you get later on.

Oh yes indeed, that is what inspired me to draw the picture at all!
In the first chapters of my first playthrough I wasn't familiar with the gameplay of Fire Emblem and I was too reckless. Edward seemed so strong and fast that he could beat anyone, but then he got surrounded and killed ._.
I immediately got a liking to the small group of the Dawn Brigade and liked everyone. Of course I didn't let anyone die! And now in my thrid playthrough I always restart the game to save everyone no matter how many hours I have played.
And oh how I trained Eddy. Just because I got emotionally linked to the dawn Brigade I train them so hard xD They turn out to be very good at the end of the game x3 But you really have to be patient with them, because it is very hard to make them...useful at all
Really, they are nothing compared to the Greil's Mercenaries ._.
But I love them

i watched few of the let's plays of this game so i was familiar with the gameplay but sometimes the RNG decides to screw you over towards the end of the chapter. like the one incident in my Blazing Swords playthrough where Raven gets gang-raped by Oleg, a brigand and a nomad with the hit percentage range of 21-28 while he is standing on the forest. i was like "What the fuck?!! dick move RNG, dick move!!"

it does make since because, it depends how close you are to them. You can cry if it's your friend or your family member. I didn't cry when my aunt died.

I won't let anyone die. But if they stay in the backlines, they can't kick ass D: They get quite strong, I was just reckless in using Edward at my first time playing it.

Well I've always been hazy about Myrmidons and Leonardo always dies when I try to use him for anything '^'; So I use Bonus exp and use them as Micaiah-defenders... ;

I developed their status to a new class in the war of Daein in alliance with Begnion against the Laguz and let them fight in the front. I was just trying out their skills and it surprised me they are of a better use now, because the same always happened to me at first, too. Some enemy just came out of the blue and killed either Leonardo or Edward. Leonardo musn't be set on front, he really dies at nearly every single hit. (well he used to, in my playthrough now he resists them 
But the two of them combined and deployed in a strategical manner can be canon!
I think it's also a matter of affection. I immediately liked them when first playing with the Dawn Brigade, maybe that's because it was my first time ever playing a Fire Emblem game before and seeing them kick their enemies' butts with critical hits and aweosme finish moves made them look so cool! Also they had this civil, normal and friendly appearance that made them unique, I don't know. (Unlike others with colorful hair. But it's not that i don't like it just a common element in anime-like games.)
It was this big dream in the heads of comparatively low classed personalities made them even more likeable. But as the story went on you could clearly see what good friends Edward and Leonardo are. And the A- support conversation really blew it all up

I've always had a terrible time leveling up sword users and it seems like all I saw in Michaiah's chapters were weak lance units. Any mages, Axe users, or sword users I'd try to hone Edward against would drive his HP down so low I'd have to make him hide behind Laura if I expected him to survive. Whereas I'd usually have Leonardo and Micaiah picking off the units with 1 HP left that Meg and Nolan failed to finish. But once the chapters started getting later and later I began prioritizing Micaiah because her weakness has lead me to restart sooooo many chapters ;;
I Think in my next playthrough I'll try to use Ed and Leo for helping level up Laura. I've never gotten their stats up that high... What are their big perks? 'w'
Oh yeah I thought their supports were adorable too~ >w< They really are a cute little couple

You're right, I also had a terrible time levelling sword users! And the lance units appeared to be nearly useless. But if you use them alot and train them such as Aran they will be of good use to you, even if they just inflict low damage
But I know what you mean. It is annoying if you actually have to restart the game because one character wasn't able to finish an enemies unit off. "He died because of 1 f****** HP!
I never got Laura's statistics up very high as well because I concentrated on training Leo and Eddie. They were in the top five and in the last battle against Ashera Leonardo really rocked! He was on his maximum and better than Shinon even because he has a very high accurateness. The problem is the higher the game level (normal, hard) is, the harder it is to get their status up plus the money is low. It really makes the game harder in total.
God yeah I love Ed x Leo together, they are so cute!

I get the whole tactics thing but.... oh man was I disappointed with them. ;; It doesn't help that their later chapters are like insane to beat. Partly because of how much my Mercenaries get decked out ;; I gave Shinon the boots, so he was able to run into the fortress (killing everything that was so unlucky as to get in his way ._.; ) and he ended up killing Micaiah (on the last turn no less) because I couldn't get someone back to her in time.
My main problems with training the Brigade seem to lie in how uninteresting I found them to be ;; The individual members got the bare minimum in regards to screentime and so I found myself not caring about them. They also got a lot of my favorite units from the last game in their initial storyarc which hindered the process even more ._.;
I've always held back on archers and myrmidons.... I liked Eddie and Leo (These two are the cutest, I swear >w<) but I could never get them to stay alive. ;;

It's an awesome picture, by the way. I'm most impressed with their outfits, which are very colorful and true to the games.
It always sucks to lose a unit (especially if it's one you've been training...).

If it was Meg who got killed I wouldn't have had the motivation to draw this scene, because it happened quite often xD
But I always reset the game to safe every unit. Indeed, it sucks to lose one. Especially one of the first dawn brigade, because you somehow grow close to them x)
Who knows what information you miss if you can't see the conversation?

Right now, I'm doing a new playthrough (there goes another sixty hours of my life) in which I don't use battle saves (except when I actually need a break) on Normal difficulty. It was going well (Nolan is turning out to be even beastlier than usual!) until I lost Jill on I-6.
And yeah, I know what you mean about growing close to units that you used from the beginning. The fact that you put in the effort to train them makes them more valuable than the later, stronger units.

That's true. I'm doing a new playthrough as well to train my favourite soldiers, the Dawn Brigade and make them kickass xD Weird how this game keeps you captivated though you already know the story. I remember the first time playing Radiant Dawn. I went crazy on the part where both, Greils mercenaries and the Dawn Brigade faced each other in battle first. I was literally ripping my hair out because I didn't want anyone to die! :c
And Nolan really turns out to be beastlier and a lot faster that I thought!
That's true, although it's rationally seen totally nonsense to stick to the weaker ones and put in the effort to train them although there are better units, we do it nevertheless
You can't help but have a liking for them ( especially for Edward and Leonardo in my opinion! x3 They are really weak compared to the Greils mercenaries but this familarity between them makes you just...like them!

That's just the thing that happened so often in the game! But it was the way round, they all charged Edward, because they knew he was hurt, and I wasn't able to protect him! (was a noob at the beginning, not using much stragedy)

And yeah, I drew Leonardo's hair wrong.
It's much shorter, like you said one half is bend into a ponytail, the other is ending at his shoulders and up.
This was one of my first FE-Fanarts, so I didn't see it properly

Really? Stronger than Zihark? Woah, I should try! I never had the time to train one specific character, cause I'm playing it one hard mode. I'm so afraid to loose someone! That's why I have to concentrate on all of them and their strenghs, so that they survive.

It's really good but it pains me to see him like this since he is one of my favorite FE characters among with Joshua and Saleh (FE Sacred Stones) and Tauroneo Naesala Haar Boyd (FE Radiant Dawn and Path of Radiance)
