hi my sister,
that's really an old idea, but the way you realised it is still very great. as it was said, the depth of the purple red is awesome, and the shadows increase this impression.
the composition is well chosen, too, i like the way you cut off the rose, still leaving main details in the image. it's marvellous with this black background, too. simply beautiful, very romantic.
