Somehow I actually managed to create something I'm actually pretty happy with - for now at least. I'm more comfortable with my eyes being less outright boring by now and I actually realised what I was doing wrong with the forelegs' shoulder joints...

Interesting thing about this: I can give her an almost Nightmare Moon-style colour scheme by just changing on layer to a "binary colour" layer. The interesting thing being that this is basically the only useful thing I have ever been able to do with that layer type. I really just don't get what it's for.
