Description
This is one of a series of 58 artworks, blending maritime lore, the old art of scrimshaw, and nautical and ocean motiffs. Emulating multiple disciplines: carving of fresh whale bone, etching and painting old bone, ceramics, found objects from the sea arranged into sculptures, carved and ceramic coated gilded artworks. Many different prompts were used. No existing artist was referenced at all. No marine life was impacted by the making of these artworks. These images were created whilst I was sitting by the ocean on a headland, over the course of a few hours. Made with Wombo Dream utilising Stable Diffusion.
