Every single brush stroke on this painting was created with a palette knife. This is part of a series of 3, 18" x 24" oil paintings that were created from an art grant I received to develop my skills in one particular area of my craft. I showed the first painting in a GIF and I have one more to share later.

I had a lot of fun but at the same time... painting with out using a paint brush can be frustrating! It forces you to be loose and for that I'd say this endeavor was a success. I feel like I can confidently add this technique into any future paintings.
