Description
A little inspired the very American song of the same name as well as some old Cowboy/Country music (yes, Marty Robbins of course ), this is Scotch! A mare mule that works as a draft horse under whoever gets their hands on her first (she's changed hands a few times). I decided to experiment more with pixel art, hence the appearance and there's a brown/white version that I'll upload to her TH! I've decided to dub this style 'Trotting Trolleys,' trolleys referring to the equipment pulled by the animal in front!
The banner behind her is there to add that 'patriotic Yank look' that I often see in films, you know, the classic riding across dusty, sun beaten terrain with either a flag or banner waving proudly in the wind behind as the horse's hooves thunder the dust into the air . Of course there are plenty of things to mock the Yanks for, but the same can be said for every country. It can't be denied, however, that the old American Western appeal has never really entirely worn off, even with the mass of Western films, comics and books pumped out in the 1950's all the way to even now, there's just a lot less of it. Heck, even before the 50's over here in England, in the late 1800's, we all gathered in throngs to witness reanactments of Yankee battles, some of which were performed by the famous Buffalo Bill (I know, as an ancestor of mine visited his shows more than once)!
