Using graphite pencils. I like the hair and the jacket.What would I do different now? More contrast between the clothes and the background, and adding some kind of background like shadows.

Hola Sergio, me parece muy acertada tu sugerencia, algo más de contraste como dices entre el abrigo y el resto, y algo más trabajadas sombras y rasgos del rostro. En cuanto al fondo sugiero un halo de sombra, entorno a la figura con forma irregular y degradado. Y te quedará perfecto.
